APPLICATION TIPS
QUESTION:
What do you use for application?
ANSWER:
Most decals can be applied wet or dry. No special supplies are needed, just some water and dishwashing liquid. We use Ducky All Purpose Cleaner, Rapid-Tac Application Fluid, and a 3M gold squeegee. You can buy them on the internet or from a local sign supply shop.

QUESTION:
What is "outdoor durability"?
ANSWER:
Manufacturers test their material for many things like fading, cracking, shrinking, peeling, etc. Keep in mind, outdoor conditions vary so if your decal will be exposed to harsh weather it may not last as long. If the decal is used indoors it will last much longer than the outdoor rating.

QUESTION:
If I put a decal on my car does it matter where I put it?
ANSWER:
Yes. This question relates to outdoor durability. In general, if you place your decal vertically (on the side of your car) it will last longer. If you place it horizontally (on the hood or top of your car) it won't last as long. In short, a decal that is facing the sun and any harsh weather will take more of a beating. |
